The treadmill was set to 6.5 MPH at a 2.0% incline. I decided to try using my old shoes that I started running in last year. I suspected them of causing my knee pain, so bought my Sauconys. Now that I am running at a 170 cadence, and using the mid-foot strike, I wanted to see if the knee pain would come back. I did notice a few small twinges on the insides of my knees (same location as the pain 6 months ago) but nowhere near the same intensity. I noticed that I just needed to tighten up my form again, and it would go away.
