I have had the pleasure of enjoying a significant amount of time in a Cam Boot with the stress fracture in my left foot. Today was the last day that I need to wear it, according to the podiatrist. I go back in three weeks for a check up, and hopefully, clearance to go back to running.
It is a shame that through my own stupidity, I have had to miss two months of beautiful Fall weather running because I pushed too far too fast. But, I hopefully, I have learned a valuable lesson for doing things gradually.
