19.97 miles according to the Garmin, 20.24 miles according to RA. Out in 1:16:30 (10.04 miles on the Garmin) and back in 1:15:00. First 10 miles quite easy, then I picked it up for the next 5 miles and suffered slightly for the last 5.
1st big mistake: wore my trail shoes. Course is muddy at places but maybe 75% of the course is much better suited for regular running shoes. My ankles and achilles were hurting badly towards the end.
2nd big mistake: went out for a 20-miler without taking anything to eat or drink with me. Had a rough patch from 15 to 17.5 miles until I stopped and got a soda. How about maybe bringing that camelback next time!?
