Friday lunchtime 5K in Hyde Park. Perfect conditions, sunny, 10-12 celsius.
5:25 - 5:38 - 5:44 - and finally 5:12 pace for last 0.14 according to Garmin
Decided to start out fast and try to hang on. Didn't go exactly as planned as I slowed down a little too much in 2nd and 3rd mile, but still a pretty good race. Three guys passed me towards the end, couldn't respond at all.
If the course was really 3.14 miles as suggested by my Garmin, then the 5K equivalent time would be 17:19.
