First Place woman for the 2nd year in a row in the PRONE (Pug Rescue of New England) 5K on Castle Island, South Boston. I 12 seconds slower than I ran it last year and 17 seconds slower than the holliston 5K six days ago. EXTREMELY Windy and a DOWNPOUR of rain out on the course going out on Castle Island, the ocean was alive. The wind was gusting sideways in the rain and I was blown all over the place. At one point a seagull almost flew into me. Very greatful to have my Husband, little daughters and pug there to cheer me on in the pouring rain. For winning the 5K I won a free pair of New Balance Sneakers and a Brand new Tennis Racquet !
