Captian’s log (resumed): The overall run was kind of weird for me. I couldn’t find my balance for some reason because I found myself trying to stay next to Brody, but veering off left into the ditch. I also had to deal with trying to catch my breath. I know I can do a 6:41 pace for 20 minuets, but today was not my day. It sounds like I’m throwing out excuses, but I just feel like this run didn’t feel normal. Especially since my right foot fully fell asleep when I had 2 minutes left. I think if I can come into either the race Saturday or the next threshold both mentally and physically prepared, I will be able to hit a sub 20 three mile.
