9 hours sleep, V8, banana, yogurt with grapenuts and maple syrup breakfast. Fantastic run. A few IT pains here and there, but overall felt very comfortable. Can't believe I did the whole thing that fast. Started out fast by mistake, but felt comfortable, so figured i'd try to do the whole thing at MP. But then I couldn't stop going a bit faster. Even at the end, felt like I could have done another 12, so I don't think I made a mistake with the pace.

Weather is clearly the dominant factor - mid fifties, little wind, just overcast enough to diffuse the sun, but not enough to make it dark. A solid 9 hours+ sleep clearly also makes a difference. Fairly light dinner, with codfish cakes Protein and potatoes, not too much fat), sauteed veggies and crusty white bread and wine. Possibly better than pasta or pizza, if just because it's sooo easy for me to eat too much of those. And the breakfast - skipping the energy bar seems to be a good thing - it's just too heavy.
