8 hours sleep, V8 and banana breakfast. Was supposed to be a marathon pace run (10:00), but it was pouring out - wanted to stay out for as short a time as possible. Actually felt pretty comfortable all the way - Really only 3/4 effort. Cooling rain, even pouring with big unavoidable puddles, seems to be a good thing.
