My watch measured 15.46, not 15.53. My watch measured 1:53:37 (they don't announce the start that well).
Debrief: Tried to run plan, but a couple of the early miles, I banked time. I rarely gave back any time - even with the hills. Overall, I think it was a good plan and an adequate execution. I had a bunch left in the tank at the end, which shows in the last 2 miles. However, the lack of competition (and the knowledge that I had my A-goal of 1:55) hindered me pulling out more. Still, a great race & a great time!
Plan: 3 mile increments of 7:40, 7:35, 7:30, 7:20, 7:10. Target: 1:55:35.

My time gains break down as follows (compared to plan):
Miles 1 - 2: 0:28
Miles 3-13: 0:02 (some better, some worse)
Miles 14-15: 0:35
Last 1/2 mile: 0:54 (half of THAT was because my watch measured short - so it's probably averaged over the whole course - hills can measure shorter than a wheel would.)
So, I ran a bit fast out of the gate. I followed the plan +/- for the middle, and I put the hammer down at the end.
