Wow where to start. The hills were super hard and slow, but I made up a lot of ground on them and on the flats. I couldn't keep up with the top 7 on the downhills, they somehow know how to sprint down the rocky mountain trails. I must have twisted my ankle 5 times. I think I hit the wall after the 3rd mountain climb, around mile 13.5. It was tough keeping 7 minute pace after some of those hills. I finished 9th overall, which isn't too bad. I tried to catch the lead group on the last mile and a half flat stretch but they were to far ahead. Great race though
