tough workout day. another ladder, but a distance one this time: 800 (2:43), 1200 (4:07), mile (5:31), 2k (7:11), mile (5:33), 1200 (4:05), 800 (2:32). I was a little disappointed with the 2k, I really wanted to go sub 7. I was really struggling in that one. After the 2k, it threw me off rhythm and the rest of the intervals were really tough. I almost had to stop and throw up in the second mile.
I gave the last 800 everything I had on the last lap, I think I split 1:20, 1:11 or something. Not bad. It started out cool and cloudy with a breeze but ended up hotter and sunny with no breeze once I started the 2k. That probably didn't help things. It was still 86 degrees, but there was no humidity so it felt a little easier to handle. Solid 12+ mile day.
