bleh. very flat course with one hill that we ran twice. all grass. fast course. perfect day, maybe a little too hot. i popped some ibuprofen so i was gonna be fine.

but i threw it all away because i thought i could go out fast and hold on like i did in the 5k on wednesday.

i opened in like 5:15-5:20.

i paid a price.

i wanted to hang with penner or greg, but neither of them were running. instead i was hanging with eli.

oh well. i died HARD but i don't care. i've missed basically two weeks of training and now i am just going to take three days off and see what happens. from now on i will try to hit 6:00 for the first mile, and it will come out to 5:40.
