came across the first 200 in 44 and 800 in 3:26 by accident.. tried to slow down a bit but apparently that didnt work. ive noticed that im only good at cut-downs when my legs are tired and i've been running on the track often and can feel out paces. i think today my legs just felt too fresh and i couldn't judge how/fast or slow i was going. during the third one my legs felt a little tired and my hips felt tight. the minute recovery was perfect, i had enough time to catch my breath and jog to the start, but not too much time where i was waiting around getting nervous.

overall happy with this! it makes me want to work harder on those easy runs. i should've been more on top of that this week like i was last week. i didnt really realize the difference it made until i looked at my pace chart yesterday. i think i need to start running alone again just to focus on myself and on getting back into shape as soon as possible. i need to find a better balance of the two. maybe ill treat myself to one group run per week, and ill probably see the others during workouts/warmups/cooldowns, too.
