LOVED this course! It was just like SPAC, woodsy, winding trails with some road. It even had a steep, wide downhill in the beginning that everyone tip-toe-ran down like SPAC does.

I took it easy the first 5k and I picked it up during the second 5k. By the end I felt great and was hungry for more!

I’m so glad Anthony pushed me to do this 10k. I decided to do it the day before and registered half an hour before the race. The whole process -eating my pre-race breakfast, driving 40 minutes there, grabbing a coffee, getting on the start line- felt wrong, but I’m SO glad I went through with it.

I have self-doubt, and I want to kick it to the curb and get back to having more confidence and happiness with myself. I definitely got those back in my last year of college, but I’ve lost some in post-grad life. I need to get to a place where I’m not so easily wavered.
