First mile my quads were feeling it. Not sure why since they felt fine for warm-up/lunges. My legs felt pretty tired in the beginning, not just my quads but a little soreness in my calves too. Anyways, as the race went on they felt better, not sure if I just got used to it or if I started focusing more on having a good finish, probably was both.

Today I went in hoping to be in the 25s. I wasn't feeling too well due to a rough past week and a half-ish, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I figured that was an attainable goal. My plan was to take it out conservatively and start being more aggressive about a mile/2K in. It worked out well I think. I can definitely feel the endurance I have gained since the first and second races, which I'm super grateful for. This might be too lofty, but a goal of mine for Liberty Leagues is to break 25. It's only 17 seconds, that's like 5 seconds/mile. Thought this course was fast, my pace was also slower than SPAC. I'd be really happy to be in the 24s. Luckily these upcoming two weeks should be much easier than the last two weeks, so I can focus more on training and preparing properly.
