for most of this, i was nervous because we were under the goal pace of 4:19 and i wasnt even sure if i could do 8 in 4:19, but it was either try and hit 4:19 alone or tag onto megan and katherine. i chose the latter. i think the seventh proved that i would have had a much tougher time hitting the time on my own.

we hit 6:48 pace for the first 6, then the 7th... yikes! first few felt easy, i could talk during them and all was well, but around the 5th I felt like i lost the pep in my step from before. it's kind of like all of the sudden my breathing wasnt so easy and i started getting nervous. coach had stopped me after the 7th. i kind of feel like i suck because i stopped after 7 and didn't run on pace, but i think today was an equal or better workout compared to the miles friday so i cant really complain.

also- feet fel soreish throughout (i think that's just running on the indoor track). right foot went numb around the 5th one and stayed numb throughout the cool down. it's fine now

It was a great workout for where you are at. In my head for you I only wanted 6, possibly 7, I just forgot to convey that...my fault. Those first 5-6 were definitely better than last week.
