Today I wanted to push myself a little and do a nice hard Tempo run. I ended up having to push a lot harder than I expected in order to keep my HR up in the Tempo range (165). I started off with what I *thought* was a quick pace, but not too quick. It ended up being quick, but not quick enough to get my HR at Tempo. I pushed harder in the second mile, to get my HR up over 160 and ended up running in the low 7 min/mile range. I kept looking at my HR and saying "OH CRAP" because it kept falling below 160 and I thought I was flying. I kept having to push harder. I really like that, but man was it irritating at the same time. It ended up being a GREAT run.

Sleep: decent (bed at 12:00am, awake at 6:00am)

Mood: good

Physical: good, no complaints

Clothes: light blue Nike shorts, yellow LiveStrong short-sleeve, red hat (perfect)
