workout AVG HR 142

Rough start today. I was woken up by the awful smell of Frasier's diarrhea at 5:30am. Oh yeah, that kind of morning. So, since I was already awake, I decided it would be good to get out and run. This was about the time I wanted to get out and do this, just not this kind of wake up. I just wanted a nice slow easy run. I started off easy. It was dark, so I was a little tweaked because I couldn't see very well, so I kind of overcompensated on the slow part. The first mile was really slow. My HR monitor was also flaking out this morning getting stuck on one HR and registering a MUCH higher rate than I knew was real. After the first mile it started to read correctly, and I also picked up the pace. I was able to run much faster and still stay in the 145 range. Not a great run, but by the end it did feel pretty good.

Sleep: not good (bed at 12:30pm, awake at about 5:30am)

Mood: pissed (mostly at the dog)

Physical: both calf muscles were really tight

Clothes: light blue Nike shorts, yellow LIvestrong short-sleeve, red FleetFeet hat (cool for 1-2 miles, then perfect)
