Wanted to get some tempo/speed work in, as I'm playing soccer now, and have found myself a little deficient on the anaerobic side of things.
Felt pretty smooth all around, but was definitely tired by the end of the first mile. I'm surprised the pace didn't fall off more the second mile, but I'm sure part of that was me warming up. I didn't really have a sufficient warm up / cool down for this run, as I was trying to get back inside before it was completely dark. Hate the shorter days and time change.
