Notes

So yesterday I drove my friend ryder James, Drew and a couple more. This literally was the longest drive I have ever done in my life because I don’t drive often to be honest. We went to Hillside iL for a milesplit meet which I personally hated it. They had little kids that were like 5 years old running the 1600 and 7 years old running 4x4. I think that too early to be racing. I register so I could paced my friend in 800 and 1600. I know that it is way to early to be racing and I have no speed right now. This meet had to been the longest meet ever because we got there at 9:30 and left at 8pm. I literally took a 2 hours nap in between some of the events. My friend drew ran 4:25 which Is crazy because its super early and it dangerous because you don’t want to peak later in the season. Ryder ran 4:34 and I just paced Christopher for a two laps then just chill through. It was kinda funny because I got the petty clap from the audience. I think it was smart for me not to race it because I don’t want what happened last year to happen this year. Last year I went 4:50 then 4:43 then 4:43 then another 4:43 then 4:42. It was just small prs in the 1600 until newsgazette where I ran 4:39. Boehmke told me that too much intensity early on can be bad for later on the season. One of my friend tommy said “it seem like you weren’t trying today why” and I told him “come back to me in March”🤫
