COMMENTS: so drained mentally from yesterday's race... almost wanted to get DQ'd and false started by stepping on the line... race went off the second time anyway... the track conditions were positively perfect and i went through the quarter in 63 but it felt like 70... slacked off then and got passed by holtz (giza, prejean, deren, and burgio already in front) on the backstretch and hit the half in 2:15... then really stopped trying and felt like stepping off the track, hitting the 1200 in 3:26... then anderson went by and i trailed him, with no desire to beat him at all... stuck to him like glue and dobby came up in the straightaway to beat me by an inch or so, with my time being 4:33.78 PR (giza 4:19, prejean 4:20, dobby 4:33.76)... really pissed off because i could have had the school record there but just didn't care because of yesterday's draining performance... pulled my right calf so bad that i could barely walk after the race
