COMMENTS: a third attempt at the fabled quarters with a minute rest workout, although much more reasonably this time... ended up doing 8x400 and 4x200 with the indicated times and rests: 71.4, 2 mins, 73.9, 1 min, 72.6, 2 mins, 72.8, 2 mins, 77.2, 1 min, 73.3, 2 mins, 73.5, 1 min, 75.2 (too dark to read the 200 split so pacing was shoddy)... 5.5 mins b/w sets, 33.3, 32.2, 34.5, 33.9 (with slow 200m jogs in between the 200's)... prognosis: my legs forgot have forgotten how to run fast efficiently, so although I'm in good distance shape I can't go fast with good form; solution: long strides (200's) after a lot of runs and also repeat this workout
