Notes
Arrived at 8am this morning but the pool was closed because of high chlorine levels. Pretty good session at lunch time when the pool re-opened. Swim 18 laps with about 12 breath rests. Some interesting observations:
- a longer sweep of the pulling hand makes it easier to roll up. When it works right it only takes a small turn of the head to get air.
- practiced leaving my hand out a little longer until the other one enters the water. Seemed ok, but sometime led to problems. I think it was faster.
- tried to keep my legs together and kick smaller. I think I got that down when I was thinking about it but hard to say when I wasn't!
- 18 laps wasn't too hard, but the end of each 50 is still a struggle. Need to get up to 100 at a time!
