I am sick but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to run in this town and we are just here two days. It is a nice moment of luxury before hitting Paris for a month and it also broke up what would have been a six and a half hour drive. We are staying at Bernard-Leseau and there is a two-star Michelin restaurant on the premises plus a spa. Sweet! This terrible cold has me feeling awful though but I am trying not to think about that.
I went out with John and Zephyr but turned around before they did. I jogged back into town and then did a little loop of the town itself. It is very tiny and almost seems deserted. Most businesses are shuttered for the season. It was hard to breath and my throats is raw. If I am going to enjoy this very fancy dinner tonight I am going to have to find some drugs!
