Notes
I was very sore yesterday and very tired. I spent most of the day moving like I was under water. I did take the time to do 40 minutes of stretching mid-day and maybe that sort of Girl Scout-like behavior pays off? I started my run this morning wondering why I felt so good.
I started out easy, focusing on nothing more than recovery. I ran an easy 11:00 but then cruised through an even easier 10:00 and then a couple of 9:30s. Funny how I expected to feel awful but felt better than I did starting out on my long effort. No doubt this wouldn't have lasted so I turned back as planned but finished feeling great. Hard to believe.
