Big Ridge

Notes

Up to Big Ridge with John and Zephyr. My plan was to run out 4 and back 4. I suggested that I could run 11s on this route and that proved to be a bit of a laugh even though it I felt good on this run, quite a bit better than I have in a while in fact. It only mattered because John was hiking and needed to know when to turn around so we could finish at the same time.

Zephyr and I made a couple of stops, the longest was at the pigs and she finally was brave enough to touch their noses with hers. I think they are finally friends. Seriously cute. She also swam in the small pond that we have found up there. So I might have been able to get the 8 miles done if not for a bit of screwing around. As it was I was at 45 minutes at 3.5 and we had to hustle back to be on time.

Hard running on return and I ran up every hill. Felt good if still not quite fit. I am getting there though.
