Twice I rescheduled my car's tune-up because the forecast was for pouring rain. There is nowhere to wait at this place and not even a coffee shop near by so every year I just do a 2-hour run while they work on my car. This was my 3rd apt. and I couldn't cancel again but of course - IT WAS POURING RAIN.
I was also very sore from the run at LS on Saturday but I zippered up the rain jacket and set out. I was pretty miserable by the turn around at mile 5 so I decided to focus on some fartlek on the way back. This was of course an awful idea since I was sore and beat and should probably have been running an easy 5 for today. This workout was all wrong and I paid for it later for sure.
Four miles of fartlek and one mile slow to warm down. Tough.
