First mile way under 9 minutes. Abby went off-leash from miles 2-8. There was a bunch of people at the Twin Lakes junction for some event, and the dogs found the noise very scary. There was some spoor on the trail between miles 5&6, and it was _very_ interesting to both dogs. I was barely able to keep Miles from rolling in it.
