Crazy long course, garmin and map read at 5.28, good race overall tho, went thru the 5k in 17:55 and tried holding on. Was behind a Race Menu singlet and BAA singlet after .50 and held on to them until 3ish (BAA guy droppd back), was wondering if I should have been hanging with them, but glad I did. At mile 3, I grabbed some water and the Race Menu guy took off and I couldn't catch back up, he ended up finishing in 3rd OA.
