Notes

One of the nicest things I've done for my body in a while! Spend more than an our with recovery related activities on the plane and my legs feel so much better now. Note to self never board a 13h flight without the lacrosse ball! Maybe I should draw a face on it, give it a name and call it my travel buddy. Iced &elevated shins, did all the yoga drills I could come up with for a space of four square feet and rolled out my whole body with the lax ball. Shins and calves tight as usually, post tib still feels "bruised"/inflamed when I apply pressure. Also noticed a pretty tight spot right where my butt starts being leg, especially on the left hamstring. Gotta stay on that spot. Plan on hitting up the elliptical later today (yeah it's kind of still the same day just that it's 34 hours long) just to give my muscles a little pumping and my metabolism a little push and then do more stretching and rolling. Might pass deadlifts today and make sure I'm healthy and recovered for team time to start.

Other than that I think most tightness in back, neck, hips related to being crammed into a tiny airplane seat for almost 20h now. Nothing a good night sleep in my own bed shouldn't fix! Excited for the landing and also for being back with the squad soon. Gonna officially call this my first high altitude WO.
