If i had to name this run, it would be "slog between drinking fountains", because that's exactly what it was. My legs just had no spark. There was some soreness from lifting in there as well, and it was REALLY hot. Even though Anders and I got out before 8am, it was still almost unbearably warm a few miles in. We broke up the run regarding where and when we could stop at the next drinking fountain. Somewhere in the middle my legs felt a little bit better, although even "better" still felt terrible, but the last couple miles were ugly. Not sure what made it so hard. Maybe I was dehydrated going into it? Maybe just re-adjusting to higher mileage again? maybe re-entry into the weight room? Likely a combo.
