Mostly easy 4 miles with Anders, in the dark, after he woke up around 4:30pm and before he went off to work.

My IT bands were not at ALL happy by the end of this one. Gotta keep on top of those pesky buggers, especially because right now it doesn't affect my happiness much because my focus is skiing, but it they are still bugging me come spring, that will be a different story. I've been much better about my exercises and stretches this week now that I've been trying to incorporate running again, and I'm already seeing some improvement, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

On a different note, apart from my IT Bands, my running muscles and everything else about this run felt MUCH better than earlier this week. The motion didn't feel nearly as strange, and we clipped along at a good pace.

Did a small, workout ish effort over the last half of the run.

1 min hard, 1 min easy, for about 10 minutes. The hard parts felt better as we went. Not sure how fast they were, and they probably felt far too hard for the actual pace, but it was fun to run fast. Still a lot of work to do before alumni.
