After my warm-up I did some skipping and flapping and generally procrastinated until I convinced myself to get going.
12x 30/90's fast.
It was fun to get out for my first real speed session of the spring. My turnover and motion felt surprisingly good. Weather was nice, and it was refreshing to work a different system than I've worked in a few months. I think the fact that I've been diligent about doing strides 2x/week so far helped my legs feel decent for these 30 second pieces. I was quite fatigued by the end.
Paces were quite varied as usual for only 30 second segments, but I was happy. Seemed like the general trend was I warmed up and got moving more quickly as the workout went on. That seems right.
