Very conscious effort to make this a VERY easy run this morning. My hamstrings were pretty tight to start out, and my quads were heavy. Purposefully kept the pace really relaxed and hoped things would loosen up and feel better as I went. First 6 felt pretty blah. Not hard because I wasn't trying to run fast at all, but not particularly enjoyable. But eventually the muscles did wake up and miles 7-10 felt really good! By the time I was finishing I felt rejuvenated and springy. I consider it a very successful recovery run.
