Solid workout with Anders late in the day. Wasn't exactly sure how my legs would feel after some stiffness and heaviness yesterday, but I think the shake out this morning helped. Had planned on some tempo and figured when we got out I would make a game time decision regarding whether or not a workout was in the cards. After an easy warm up I decided it would be good to turn over some more gears. The little work definitely made the miles go by faster, and once we got into the workout a bit things started to loosen up and eventually felt pretty good.

Little bit of hamstring tightness towards the end, which is to be expected with some higher mileage. Overall the paces felt good.

Most of the trail was in the shade, which helped the heat, and there was just enough breeze to provide more relief but not require any sort of extra effort when it was in your face.

Must remember that great company makes workouts easier, and relaxed efforts really help to pass the miles during high mileage weeks.

39 miles in three days. Pretty sure that's a PR for me.
