Notes

Easy, solo, morning run before a morning of coaching.

I knew I wouldn't have any desire to go after skiing all morning, so early morning it was. Worked out quite well, though, because I was able to get out before the heat.

Legs didn't feel great, hamstrings were really tight, but it was nice to run in the shade and in the cooler temps. Had some easy tunes playing and I enjoyed myself.

I also knew I needed to get a run in today, because I didn't yesterday, and probably won't tomorrow, and supposedly I'm running a half marathon this weekend, so, you know, running this week might be a good idea.

My plan as of right now, is to run on days when Im not skiing, (obviously), and also on days when I'm only skiing once.

That would put me at running everyday except Tuesdays and Thursdays, which seems pretty reasonable right now.

Tuesdays I ski/coach 4 hours: from 7:15am-9:15am with Wayzata, and then from 6:30-8:30pm with Maple Grove, so running on top of that seems silly.

Thursdays I ski/coach 6 hours: 7:15am-9:15am with Wayzata advanced skiers, 10am-noon with Maple Grove, and then 5:30-7:30pm with Wayzata beginners. So running on Thursdays seems not only silly, but stupid.

We're going with that for now, quite subject to change.

Holy crap, you are a busy woman! You are taking the world by storm with your coaching, and you will have an army of great skiers by the time winter arrives, it appears. Impressive!
