Maple Grove Nordic Practice

We were also doing a technique day today with Maple Grove, so I got to use the same drill set I used with Wayzata this morning.

about 30 min easy ski to warm-up, maybe 8k, ish, then some V1 technique with the kids.

Box drill on the ground first

no pole skate drill x2

bucket of water drill x2

arms over head drill x2

single pole V1 drill... first pole in the working hand and then in the non-working hand... x2 each

full, V1 technique x2

easy cool-down with Anders to finish the day. And I mean easy on the cool-down, no need to set the world on fire on the first day. I'm going to have more km of skiing this summer than my body can probably handle, so keeping the first day reasonable is just fine.
