Had to do an early morning adventure, as the rest of my day was jam packed.

My alarm went off and I headed out the door just a few minutes after 6, adorned with two running lights. The temperature was brisk, but once I got out and moving I was quite comfortable. My face was slightly stiff when I finished an hour+ later, but in general the conditions were quite optimal.

Warm-up,

The tempo was slower than a true tempo, but I'm still feeling some general fatigue, so I decided to take it easy and treat the workout as more of an up-tempo distance run.

By the end I was ready to be done, but never felt overly tired or like I was really pushing.

The sunrise over the coast was quite picturesque. Lots of pretty reds and pinks.

What distance is your training geared toward at the moment? You gonna find some track events this spring or are you thinking more of crushing a half when school gets out? Or none of the above?
