Got my long run in for the week. 12 miles, check.
It wasn't pretty and I didn't feel overly perky, but its done and that feels good.
I want to be hitting 65-70 in August, and I've been building for 3 weeks now. My thought is these next two weeks in July should include one more building week and one down/recovery week. The mileage will probably be 60 and 45 ish, respectively. I haven't decided for sure which week should be which. It will probably depend upon how the legs feel over the next few days.
