First run in tropical paradise: the beautiful Caribbean island of St. John. I say hill workout because everything here is a hill. I hopped a trail about a half mile from my resort and proceeded to climb for the next hour. I have no idea how far it really was, but I'm giving myself credit for 8 cause I was out there for an hour and a half plus. Met an iguana, about 8 feet long, that was terrifying, and that quickly became my turn around point. About 2/3 of the way up to iguana intersection I came to cinnamon beach lookout. One of the most spectacular views I have ever seen. Blue green tropical water, contrasted with the white golden sand, sailboats in the bay, and green, undeveloped national forest on every side. Stopped for a good 10 minutes to enjoy the scenery, well worth the stop.
