Legs felt pretty terrible for this one. Generally speaking post-workout days things usually loosen up after 2-3 miles if they start bad, but today they never got better. I think part of it is because I was babying my L calf so much that I had a hard time finding any true rhythm. Yes, the workout yesterday was challenging, but I think today was a result of a number of factors in addition to yesterday's work. On the bright side, the calf seemed no worse for the wear after a big day yesterday, so I'll take that as a win. And now later after another round of massage and some muscle rub, it continues to improve.
Wanted a few more miles, but the calf tightened up a little more around 5 so I called it after that. Better to heal than to push for more mileage today, think.
