Ran 4 miles with Anders as a warm-up before he had to head off to ski, and I felt springy from the start. Legs have been feeling great lately!
After we separated I headed towards some of the Medina neighborhoods and did 5x800 at about 5k pace. The first one was a bit fast, but after that I settled in a felt strong.

It was 35 degrees and sunny, and my tights and thin long sleeve with a jacket were perfect for the conditions. By the end I was feeling comfortably warm and took off my gloves for the cool down. A great winter run and workout!
I'm entered in a 5k on Thanksgiving and looking forward to it. It won't be a PR performance, nor am I putting any great weight on it, but I'm excited to throw on some light shoes and run fast one more time this fall before taking some time away before track!
