Notes
Great workout up at my uncle's cabin.
Ran around mid morning, post-breakfast, and in a cool 65 degrees. It was the ideal temperature and time of day to run.
I ran on the ATV trail (lightly packed gravel), from their cabin, and thoroughly enjoyed the woodsy setting and soft footing.
30 min warm-up
5x1,000m at tempo- worked into it a bit, and by the end they were feeling smooth like butter

Cool down
the only hard part of the workout was that on both the 4th and 5th pieces I was passed by ATVs right as my GPS went off for 1,000m (apparently), and I ended up running almost an additional 2 minutes before finally checking my watch when the effort got really hard and realizing I was almost halfway through another piece.
Luckily, my watch was recording my km splits, so I still have the times the pieces took me to record, I just happened to do almost 50% extra work on the 4th and 5th reps. Whoops!
So really I suppose the workout was 3x1,000m and then 2x1500m, at tempo, but whatever. Details.
Feeling fit and strong!
