I felt like I settled into a pace for the first time since I've been here. Around 3.5 miles there was a herd of buffalo hanging around the trail. After visions of being pierced by buffalo horns, I decided that it would be in my best interest to take the long way around. Unfortunately, the long way was full of wet mud and grass. Despite that inconvenience both ways, The run was fairly enjoyable and only really got uncomfortable the last 2 miles or so.
Race coming up on Saturday June 18th.
