Badgerland Striders Half first place. First road race I've ever won, went in expecting a top 10 and kept moving up throughout the race. Perhaps the smartest I've ever run as well as the best race of my life. It was my first half, which helped me because I had no clue what kind of pace I could run but I was very focused on how my body felt and was confident that I was pushing it. I guess I can cross winning a road race off of my bucket list, I never ever expected to win this race.
