Found a new running buddy who also happens to be a Christian. We had a good talk on our run about our lives of faith. It's amazing how I found my first Christian friend here and he is also the only person I know here who is an actual runner. God sure did give me what I needed.
The trail started uphill for 2 miles (which was pretty intense) but we turned around and got to coast downhill before adding a couple more miles on the road. It was much easier to run at a relaxed pace with someone else there. It was definitely a very positive run.
