bitter cold wind at start Dismal Nitch. continued strong sidewind pushing me around abit on bridge going up that moderately steep incline to top of span. lost lots of time on that hill. made 1/2 of that lost time coming down other side but lost too much energy with the hill & fighting that wind that there was not much left in tank for strong finish last mile. quads took a beating coming down & around to Astoria Riverwalk. overall a another great learning experience & great event, beautiful area.
