cool, clear when started 41. 49 when back, no rain/wind. nice. tough run w/calf issues. 1st 4 miles started level 3-4 pain, stopped to stretch, water, gu. gradually increasing to 7-8 for next 4 miles, then settled down. last 4 miles level 4. almost stopped to walk 2-3 times but pushed through slowly. 4 cliff shots before, gu at 4 miles, & around 8 mile mark. water/vitalylite. protein shk, ban, water when back. RICE immediately.
