Bellevue All in for Altuism 10k. much hillier than expected as most of 2nd 1/2 follows the Mercer Island course. went out too fast & was @ PR pace @ 2 miles & slightly over at 3 miles. not sure what happened after that. I know my pace slowed miles 4 & 5 but did not feel like that much of a dropoff. mile 6 felt better pace than previous 2 miles. possibility that course was measured long ????? if measured correctly than it was a disappointing race. it was a fun event & liked the course.
double checked & no change in time or comments about course. I know 2nd have was slower but still cannot believe that I ran just under 30 mns for 2nd half or 5k distance. so my thought is still that course was abit long. event was fairly low key & not a serious race. so sticking to official time knowing that it was probably long.
