small local race raising $ for local trails. approx. 300+ no mileage markers, not chip timed, no times called out. was told flat but short flat stretches, mostly rolling. 2500-2600 elevation. out/back-very stiff headwind all the way back from turnaround including uphill stretch. caught some people uphill, no one passed me whole 2nd 1/2. very tough with wind on way back. & curved around building at start & end. minor injury to lower left shin right above foot. sucks! 2 days off? sucks! 2nd in large AG 46-60. awards only to AG winners. can't expect much for $12 including shirt, still all in all great little road trip race. friendly measured long.
